"Designing a moment: The London 2012 Olympic Cauldron" is a purpose built gallery of the museum of London, designed to be the new home of the Thomas Heatherwick designed Olympic Cauldron.
The lighting of the gallery is meant to recall that moment when London was the centre of the worlds attention and the Cauldron was revealed to the world. The scheme is enhancing the narrative of the gallery by being directly linked and synchronised with the AV projections, and emphasising on the sculpture by highlighting the complexity and amazing engineering of Heatherwick's design.
